5K (3.1 mileS) and 3K (1.6 mILES)
the 3K WILL not BE timed. the 5K races are ALL timed. No matter which you sign up for, THE 5K OR THE 3K, you will get to do all of the obstacles, with the exception of running up the giant hill on Thompson Ravine road. nO TROPHIES FOR 3K RACERS, AS THEY ARE NOT TIMED.

KIDS RACE (3K): The Kids Race is meant for those 16 and under. The race is not timed, and the kids will go off in waves for safety. Parents may go with their children for free, but are not eligible to receive medals, goodie bags, or t-shirts. The kids race goes first, as the obstacle course tends to get more difficult as the day goes on, as the course gets muddier, and the mud pits get stirred up.
FAMILY RACE (3K): The family race is meant for families who want to race together, emphasizing families with children. This race is not timed. Minimum of 3, Maximum of 16 per team. All family members must be directly related.
TEAM/COMPANY 3K RACE (3K): This race is not timed. It is meant for teams of 3 to 16 members who want to simply do the 3K race, and are not worried about time.
ADULT 3K RACES (3K): This race is for individuals who wish to run the 3K without being on a team or in a family group. It is not timed.
5K
TIMED 5K ELITE RACE: This race is for the prize money. If you think you can compete with the big racers, this one is for you. Prize money and trophies to the top 3 male and female finishers!
5K TEAM/cOMPANY RACE: If you are a competitive team, this is the race for you. The top 3 teams will receive trophies and gift certificates. There are strict rules for these teams. Teams must consist of at least 3, but no more than 12 racers. All team members MUST finish together to be eligible for prizes, unless there is an injury, or some other extenuating circumstance. Only one team member will be given the chip to carry on a baton, and the baton and chip must cross with the team to be able to win. Maximum 16 on a team.
ADULT AND KID 5K RACE: This race is for anyone who wants to be timed and run the full 5K.
